I flushed the brake's fluid on my 2013 Honda Odyssey EX-L (4th generation 2011 - 2017) for $20 using 2 bottles of 32 oz Prestone MAX DOT3 (you will only use 40oz), which provides coverage for 100,000 miles.
There is not MAX version for DOT4 and DOT4 only has higher boiling point which is only important if you will be using your brakes a lot like racing. For normal driving DOT3 is fine.
You should replace the brake fluid at least every 5 years (some said 3) to avoid having problems in the breaking lines and system in general.

The PVC Clear Vinyl Tubing has an inside diameter of 1/4” and outside of 3/8”. It costs around $5 for 10 feet at Lowe’s:
