Karen C. Coleman, MA, Mental Health First Aid Outreach Specialist at the Center for Health Care Services Foundation, defines and explains Mental Health First Aid. She describes how to recognize mental health symptoms and how to apply best practices to help people with a substance use disorder. Lastly, she also demonstrates the relationship between mental health awareness, inclusion, and productivity in recovery services.
