Unreal for Real is a vintage video from 2006, where we were a couple of guys from the office who decided to go play the game for real. We just took whatever was lying around on the floor and used it as weapons.

Afterwards I (Rene Brokop) would add "cheap" effects in After Effects, with the help of Maya 3D software.

A bit info on the Unreal Tournament game.

Unreal Tournament is a first-person shooter game that was first released in 1999. The game was developed by Epic Games and was built on the company's own Unreal Engine. Unreal Tournament quickly gained a dedicated following thanks to its fast-paced gameplay, innovative weapons, and multiplayer features.

Over the years, Unreal Tournament has seen several sequels and spin-offs, each of which has brought new features and improvements to the game. Here's a brief overview of some of the major changes and updates that have been made to Unreal Tournament over time:

Unreal Tournament (1999): The original Unreal Tournament featured a variety of gameplay modes, including Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Domination. The game also introduced a number of innovative weapons, such as the Flak Cannon and the Redeemer.

Unreal Tournament 2003: The first sequel to Unreal Tournament was released in 2002. Unreal Tournament 2003 introduced new gameplay modes, such as Bombing Run and Double Domination, as well as a new game engine that improved graphics and performance.

Unreal Tournament 2004: The next sequel, Unreal Tournament 2004, was released in 2004. This game introduced new vehicles, such as the Goliath Tank and the Hellbender, as well as new gameplay modes, such as Onslaught and Assault.

Unreal Tournament 3: The most recent main entry in the Unreal Tournament series was released in 2007. Unreal Tournament 3 featured updated graphics, new gameplay modes, and improved multiplayer features. The game also introduced a new campaign mode, which allowed players to progress through a series of challenges and earn rewards.

Unreal Tournament (2014): In 2014, Epic Games announced that they were working on a new version of Unreal Tournament, which would be developed in collaboration with the game's community. The new version of the game would be free to play and would feature new maps, weapons, and gameplay modes.

Unfortunately, the development of the new Unreal Tournament was put on hold in 2017, and there have been no updates on the project since then. However, the legacy of Unreal Tournament lives on, and the game remains a beloved classic in the first-person shooter genre.
