2.35 vs 16x9 FINAL discussion. I AM NOT TELLING EVERYONE TO GO 16X9. I AM TELLING PEOPLE WHY I DID AND WHY IT MAKES SENSE TO DO SO.

I Explain here that if you zoom the projector out to get your size...in width that you desire...your 2.35 pictures is maxed out there. By getting a 16x9 screen with the same width then you aren't making your 2.35 picture smaller. You are only making your other stuff...along with changing aspect ratio movies larger. People keep telling me 2.35 is what the director intended....clearly not when so much isn't solid 2.35. Just too many false statements. If you hate bars...sure get a projector that has blanking....or a lens and cut it off. But I say to just leave it alone. I don't see bars on my projector anyway.!
