Description and Learning Objectives: This session provides an introduction to current state of the art in violence risk assessment, discussion of how risk assessment tools are being used in sentencing and corrections, and discussion of the role that neuroscience may play in shaping these tools and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines. Specific learning objectives include:
