एक गरीब औरत और उसकी जवान बेटी शाम के अपने घर में बैठी रो रही है दोनों भूखी है दो दिन पहने ही श्रद्धा के पिता की मौत हुई है दोनों काम की तलाश में, रात को ही जाती है गांव के एक ठाकुर फ़तेह सिंह जो की एक दूध का व्यापारी है के घर काम मिलता है दोनों वहां काम करने लगती है लेकिन गरीबी और अपनी जात के कारन परेशानी बनी रहती है फ़तेह सिंह का छोटा बेटा विश्वास शहर में पढता है वो छुट्टी में गांव आता है वो जब श्रद्धा की परेशानिया देखता है तो मदद कर देता है ये बातें उसके घरवालों और गांव वालो को अच्छी नहीं लगती, उसके घरवाले और गांव वाले उसका विरोध करते है लेकिन विश्वास फिर भी उसकी सहायता करता है जिस कारण गांव वाले उन दोनों को बदनाम कर देते है अंततः विश्वास पर श्रद्धा के बलात्कार का इल्ज़ाम लग जाता है पुलिस विश्वास को गिरफ्तार करने आती है लेकिन श्रद्धा सच्चाई का साथ देती है जिसकरण विश्वास बच जाता है विश्वास भी श्रद्धा का साथ देता है और इस ज़ालिम समाज से उसे बचने के लिए , उससे शादी कर लेता है
A poor woman and her young daughter are crying in the evening in her house. Both are hungry for two days only after the death of father of Shraddha.Both go looking for work, at night.Thakur Fateh Singh, a trader of milk, gets the job at his home.Both of them work there. Fateh Singh's little son Vishwas reads in the city . he came home in holidays.When he sees the problem of Shraddha, he helps.These things do not look good to his family members and villagers.His family members and villagers oppose him. But Vishwas still helps her. Because of which the villagers defame them both. Ultimately, Vishwas is charged with rape of Shraddha. Police come to arrest Vishwas. But the Shraddha cooperates with the truth. Because of her Vishwas is safe. Vishwas also supports Shraddha. And to protect her from this oppressive society, he marries her.
