With a handful of projects in the shop, there are already a handful of issues I have to work around.
The BMW R60/5 motorcycle is awaiting an engine rebuild, but before it gets put together, some machining has to be done to the cylinder heads. The machine shop will only be able to machine these in a couple weeks from today...so I guess I just have to wait it out! All the other parts are already waiting in the boxes ready to be assembled and I cannot wait to share with you the assembly videos.
In the middle of the shop, I have the John Deere 1445 that has been torn into pieces. I'll have the transaxle put together in just a couple hours with brand-new parts. Once it's back on four wheels I can look forward to an engine assembly video with oversized pistons for the Yanmar 3TNV82A engine.
The John Deere 332 and Renault R5 haven't seen much work yet, but I will get to them in the next couple of episodes, once I have some shelf storage ready for parts. It'll be really interesting to showcase the 90's garden tractor and 70's hot-hatch drivetrain disassembly. More content coming soon!...
