Diana Suttenfield’s artwork has been included in over 100 regional, national, and internationally juried and invitational exhibits including Pastel Society of America, Art Miami International Exposition, US Artists, Baltimore Watercolor Society, and Butler Institute of American Art. Her work is in public, corporate, and private collections throughout the United States. In the ’70’s and ’80’s she illustrated and published four pen and ink sketchbooks on regional architecture, including “The C and O Canal; An Illustrated History” (text by T. Hahn) which was reviewed by The Washington Post Book World. In 1993 her work was selected to represent the United States through the U.S. Department of State, Art in Embassies Program. In 2015, the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, Hagerstown, Md. honored her with a fifty -year retrospective, and in 2017 she received a lifetime achievement award from Who’s Who in American Art.
