Tomi Malm joins forces with lyricist Jackie Kavan again to create another album highlight, ‘Perfect Imperfection’, featuring the smooth and sultry vocals of Jeff Pescetto. With the help of the legendary Robbie Buchanan and his unmistakable Rhodes sound, Tomi exposes his inner Burt Bacharach on this smooth, soul/pop ballad, creating a magical tune that could easily belong in the legendary composer's songbook. The arrangement also gathers a cadre of world-renowned session players that includes drummer John “JR” Robinson, bassist Neil Stubenhaus, guitar player Dan Warner and saxophonist Brandon Fields. An added plus are Patrik Eriksson’s flugelhorn and Zosia’s beautiful harmonies which blend seamlessly with Pescetto’s vocal performance on the song.
