Even in the year 2018, you still rarely see a lot of fun sleepers being built by the car community. However my buddy Chris told me about this 350z HR swap Nissan Maxima from 2002 and said I totally needed to review it. Going in a little skeptical, I never thought that a car like this would make me laugh so much. With its 2 step like pops, it's hilarious acceleration, and catback exhaust makes it one heck of a time. This car reminded me of if Nissan made a competitor to the first Taurus SHO - high revving, and full of character. Starting with basically the 350z de engine, he changed it over to an HR swap with a six speed transmission. This car would make the Nissan Altima and the rest of the VQ lineup look like a potential platform for building a sleeper. Thanks for watching!
