Four M.D./Ph.D. students at Albert Einstein College of Medicine share what motivates them to pursue the long and rigorous course to become physician-scientists. The goal of the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at Einstein, one of the first to be funded by the National Institutes of Health, is to integrate graduate training in scientific research and clinical medicine in order to accelerate the path to improving human health.
