Utica-Rome Speedway opens its season with the 'Honoring Alex Friesen' $6,800-to-win Big Block Modified special on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

Matt Sheppard captured the win in the first two editions of the event in 2022 and 2023, while Stewart Friesen still seeks his victory in the race paying homage to his late uncle.
