Shipping Container House – One Bedroom – A Quiet Place Near the Lake – 2x20 ft

This container home was designed from Two 20-foot Containers. The design includes one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, laundry, storage room and an exterior living area.

My goal was to design an exterior that resembles a shelter. To achieve this, I utilized a combination of black paint on the containers and Corten steel for the access frame. Additionally, I opted for concrete as the main material for the exterior areas due to its low-maintenance properties.

I chose a country style for the interior that contrasts with the house's exterior design. It features a combination of wood with tones of yellow, white, and gray, creating a cozy atmosphere.
