We give a brief review of simplicial homology, which is defined for for simplicial (or delta) complexes, as discussed in the previous lectures. When introduce singular homology, defined for any space. In particular, we observe that while simplicial complexes is easier for computing, singular homology is a theory well suited for proving properties of homology.
