Check out Part 1- Exterior Review, Tech Specs, and History
   • 718 vs 981 GT4 - This is why I went w...

Some extra details not discussed in the video:
1. I opted for the lighting design package which illuminates the door handle areas, footwell, and a decorative light on the overhead console. Not sure if the lights behind the seats are standard or not.
2. Sirius/XM is standard on the 718
3. Thanks to @ObsessedGarage for making me realize how cool the steering column in leather looks compared to plastic...I totally didn't need that, but I NEEDED it!
4. I really like the covered compartments on each side of the engine. Great place to store my detailing products for the road.
5. I really don't like the ticking sound of the 4.0 engine. Sounds like a bad lifter, stuck valve, or dare I say a diesel engine at idle. From what I understand this is the normal sound.
6. Exhaust valves are basically closed automatically after about 1200 RPM regardless of PSE mode. They then open at around 3800 RPM with enough throttle applied.

Thanks to my extra crew Justin and Lava for some of the opening shots, couldn't have asked for a better team when I'm hanging out the back of an SUV.
