Welcome back to BackMacSci! In this video, I give a general overview of how a spark gap tesla coil is able to generate lightning from the energy of a 120V socket. I hope you enjoyed it and learned something!

I had actually planned on including this explanation in the video I'll upload on Monday, but this explanation ended up interrupting the flow of the build-type video. I think I succeeded in making this a stand-alone video! Let me know what technical details you would add to improve this video or what mistakes you think I made in my explanation.
