The refreshed 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance now comes with a new wheel and tyre package. We were invited by Richard at R Symons Ltd to drive the new model and see if it feels any different.

Before testing the 2021 car we drove a 2019 M3P on exactly the same route. Tyre pressures were all set to 42psi as recommended. The PS4S tyres on the 2019 car had approx. 6mm of tread, while the P Zeros on the new one were just over 7mm. There were no modifications made to either car.

On public roads we can't push the limits of grip, so there will be a follow up video soon comparing the old and new packages on a racetrack. In the meantime, here's what we discovered...
