Living With a Jaguar Project7 F-Type... We have had the P7 for almost a year and it now has over 8 times the mileage than it had accumulated in the entire 1st 7 years. Driving this roadster involves well thought and deliberate intent... its not your every day convertible. Aside from the rarity of the car and the scarcity of the parts, you have to really consider your route. It's kinda low and kinda bumpy and it can be sketchy in slippery or loose surface conditions. The convertible top is difficult to put on and it can take several minutes so checking the weather is a must. Its not just a push of a button or rolling up the windows... if you get warm or cold... suck it up buttercup.
Then there is the noise... i have received sound ordinance warnings by the local law enforcement due to the exhaust noise.
Annnnd... These are all EXACTLY the reasons I LOVE the Project 7! Its a consummate roadster that takes you back to the bygone days of classic British motoring!
