This is a review of the Thule Sapling Child Carrier- this carrier was sent so I could test it out. It is designed to hold your child along with a decent amount of gear. It does have additional storage that can be added but isn't required. I know a few were frustrated that it wasn't included as the price tag is already high, and honestly, it would be nice if it was. Even though it's not a requirement to have, including everything would be nice- especially since it is over $400 for the carrier alone.

It does have one of the highest price points, but if finding the absolute best seat for your child is a requirement, this is definitely it. Finding one gently used would be an option for those who don't have the budget. And, there are some other structured hiking carriers that also work well and use stirrups to keep your child a bit more comfy. It isn't quite the same, but most people aren't using a hiking carrier day in and out, so the potential for hip development issues are significantly lower. It's also not designed to be use until baby can sit unassisted, which further lowers any potential risk.

I will be getting some reviews on others up as well! I currently have the ClevrPlus, Osprey Poco Plus and Kelty to review.
