Time for the yearly Memfis Mafia / Barasaur trip. We were headed for Idaho this year; although, there were a few life changing events that changed our adventures. Memfis Mafia ended up not able to go due to moving to a new state. We had others going with us this year and the group decided we still wanted a trip so we moved to a shorter timeframe and a bit closer to home and picked the Ghost Rail to ALT trail. Below are our adventures for this trip.

We (waawhoo, FayColSalTom, GotYour6, and myself) all headed out Friday morning headed for Rock Springs Wyoming. We headed up hwy 287 from Fort Collins to Laramie and was stopped due an accident at the CO/WY border. We re-routed to I25 to go through Cheyenne. Once reaching Cheyenne all routs heding to Laramie were closed due to a snow storm. Not what would any good cacher do? Go back home and scrub the adventure? Wait and see what happens with the storm? Nope, this group of cachers, we are determined to get our caching in. We head north to go around the storm. We made it!

In the end we had a great couple days in the area. We enjoyed the awesome scenery of desserts to mountain passes all in same day. We signed as a team on the logs as CEGT (Colorado Extreme Geocaching Team) Here is some of our statistices from this trip.

1 Scetchy bridge crossing
2 creek crossing
3 new counties
3 Road Closures due to accidents or winter snow
35 the average temperature of the days (-6c was seen ohh that was 21f for normal comparison)
?? Gate opening and closings (didn't keep track)
?? Numerous muggles
650 Smileys captured
1150 miles covered
9,000th Cache for FayColSalTom
15,000th Cache for Barasaur
