I've spent the past 5 years painting in HORRIBLE conditions. Here's what I learned. If you guys like this video and want a longer more detailed version let me know in the comments below! Now go paint something (pending the laws in your state/province allow it)
What you saw in this video is listed and linked below:
Sander - https://amzn.to/3VYjq8r (any sander will work but you want a dual action ideally)
Rust inhibiting spray paint - https://amzn.to/3QtopwI
Primer - https://amzn.to/3Czpttq (this will likely be cheaper at a paint shop)
Pro Air Filter - https://amzn.to/3itbVIY (not necessary but helps ALOT with water and is what I use)
Beginner Air Filter- https://amzn.to/3Zph45v (use this if you're just trying to get painting as cheap as possible, I replace them with each coating)
Gun - https://amzn.to/3GpJLqe (you can get really picky here, if you're just starting out basically any gun with a 1.3 or 1.4 fluid tip is good I like telling people to learn on cheap guns because it wont hurt if you mess it up. This paintjob started on a $180 gun that I don't recommend and ended with the cheapest one I could find)
Wax and Grease Remover - PPG "JX101"
Basecoat - PPG Shopline "JB"
Reducer - PPG Shopline Medium Reducer "JR506"
Clearcoat - PPG Shopline Universal Clear "JC60"
