Following a six-hour standoff, two people are dead after a gunman opened fire at an Anaheim senior living complex on Thursday. The deadly shooting happened at the Tyrol Plaza Senior Apartments located at 891 State College Blvd. at around 3:40 p.m.

The female victim, who has not been identified, is the manager of the apartment complex. A witness, Joe Guerrero, said he was speaking with the manager at the leasing office when the suspect suddenly entered the room. The suspect, who lives in the complex, approached them and shot the manager at close range from about three feet away.
