Lab results after switching back to OTC NDT to manage my autoimmune thyroid disease, Hashimoto's, and my new bio-identical cortisol therapy to help my adrenal fatigue!
My adrenal results from my 24 hour saliva adrenal profile compared to STTM patient experiences:
AM 4.0 (3.7 - 9.5) LOW
Should be close to the top of the range - want 9.5
NOON 1.2 (1.2 - 3.0) LOW
Should be close to the lower end of upper quarter of the range - want 2.5
LATE AFTERNOON 0.9 (0.6 - 1.9) SLIGHTLY LOW
Should be close to midrange - want 1.25
BEDTIME 0.4 (0.4 - 1.0) NORMAL
Should be at the bottom - want 0.4
My DATS (Daily Avg Temps) taken 5 days after starting OTC bio-identical cortisol (hydrocortisone / HC) from RegenerativeNutrition.com:
Day 1 - 98.33
Day 2 - 98.1
Day 3 - 98.13
Day 4 - 98.13
Day 5 - 97.76
According to STTM, this means I needed a slight raise in my HC, so I am now on half a capsule extra per day.
I'll do my DATs again starting tomorrow to see where my temps are after taking that new dose for 6 days.
