So the general rule that I want you guys to take away from this video is that if you’re trying to figure out how much you need invested, you need to take the *Dividend Income / Dividend %.*

So if you need $75,000 a year, and you’re getting a 5% dividend yield, that’s going to be $75000/.05 = $1.5 million a year. That’s the formula that you hopefully take away from this video.
