Calibrating your FPV radio's gimbals properly is a very important step.
If the gimbal sticks don't go to 100% when fully deflected, this usually happens for 2 reasons.
You have either changed the endpoints in the settings of the radio, in order for your receiver and FC to receive a proper range from 1000us (min) to 2000us (max), or you have applied too much force on the sticks when calibrating.
The latter can cause a lot more problems than you may think. Especially if your gimbals are plastic (like the Radiomaster TX16S stock gimbals), the body of the gimbal can flex if you press hard on it. This moves the stick further than it would normally move and registers a bigger range during the calibration of the gimbal sticks. As a result, when you are flying your sticks will go to 98-99% or less when fully deflected, unless you apply as much force as you did when calibrating. Also, your Throttle at the minimum position will be higher than 0%, which can produce Throttle Warning errors when you turn ON your radio or try to arm your multirotor.
If you are encountering Throttle Warning message or cannot arm your multirotor because the Throttle is higher than it should, definitely make sure you calibrated your gimbals properly and not like a baboon…
