Should the UK cut benefits to get people back to work?
The IMF has suggested slashing unemployment benefits would encourage men in particular to find jobs.
It comes amid a so-called 'worklessness crisis' in Britain with over 9 million working-age adults out of work.
Mel Stride, the Work and Pensions secretary, has already acknowledged the need for radical welfare reforms.
Last month he unveiled plans to make 150,000 people signed off work with mild mental health problems look for jobs, warning that “normal ups and downs of human life” risked being labelled as a medical condition.
