In this video, Amelia reviews the 2021 Toyota Supra GTS, which is the higher of two trims and the result of a recent update that gave the Supra a bit more power and some other perks.

The design of the new Supra definitely draws attention, but some people feel it is for all the wrong reasons. I’m not sure I’d agree with them, but you do have to have a particular flair to love this design.

Aside from the mentioned 285 kW the lovely 6-pot turbo also packs 500 Nm of torque from 1800 all the way up to 5000 revs. It is paired exclusively with a ZF 8HP 8-speed automatic whose different versions adorn everything from your entry-level diesel BMW 3 Series to the likes of Aston Martin, Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche, and Rolls-Royce models.

The Supra with this engine sprints to 100 in a bit over 4 seconds.

Despite wearing the Toyota badge many of the 2021 Supra underpinnings are actually BMW. If you’re looking for a car like this in this price range, there aren’t many better options out there. Driveaway pricing for the bottom spec GT is $93,860 and this GTS will set you back $104,260.
