The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center annually celebrates the lifesaving organ donation and transplantation that takes place at Ohio State with the Buckeye Pinwheel Planting and Transplant Reunion on the medical center plaza. This year, 12,500 pinwheels were planted in a ceremony of thousands of transplant recipients, living organ donors, donor families, medical teams and volunteers.
