This is basically a review of the GoPro content creator bundle. I had been using a iPhone to capture most of my videos but the new Adobe Premiere screws with the color space making all the videos look blown out.
I wanted to get real life usage out of the GoPro so i brought it on a boys weekend at the 1000 Islands in upstate New York.
I knew there was going to be some gorgeous scenery so I brought my phone, a drone and a set of Vuzix smart glasses to record different parts of the trip.
To be fair the Vuzix glasses are more for industrial, remote maintenance and scanning work, but I like to use them when I need hands free filming.
As for the creator bundle ( the extra battery in the Volta is HUGE for anyone doing any amount of filming. It acts like 3 more GoPro batteries and feels like it will never run out, The remote capabilities on the Volta also seem like no big deal, but really are handy when starting and stopping a video, i don't ever want to use a GoPro without the Volta.
I definitely will be using the GoPro over my phone for future videos as the stabilization and colors are insane.
