Hello, everyone! Today, we're fishing a drawdown lake. In case you're not familiar, many bodies of water get drawn down in the fall & winter. This happens for a variety of reasons, but often related to weed control, dam cleaning/maintenance, etc. Some of these drawdown lakes are open to fishing, but they can be challenging to fish b/c of access. On this pond, I need to carry my sled through a rock field, then slog through some mud to get to the fish. It's not easy access, but that means it's also not crowded either. The fish were a little slow to start, but fishing picked up later. As usual, I've got my underwater camera with me so I can video all of the underwater action. So, come along with me, as I fish a drawdown lake & catch a bunch of fish on the jigstick in the process.
