Coming back home after a long morning of riding, I get pulled over and ticketed for speeding! Not the greatest way to end the day. Instead of pleading Guilty or No Contest and paying the ticket, I decided to fight the charges against me and pleaded, Not Guilty. After receiving the notice in the mail, about a month or two later, I filed for an extension. I extended my response due date from January to February. I pleaded, Not Guilty, and I requested a trial by written declaration. I sent in my argument to plead my case and after about 6 months from the date of the ticket, I receive the verdict in the mail. I am immediately met with joy when I read the ticket.
