Looking for a leather MagSafe wallet for your iPhone? Apple’s MagSafe Wallet is great, but the new Full Leather Magnetic Wallet from Mujjo is definitely an option to consider. It features full grain, vegetable tanned leather from the eco conscious Ecco tanneries, and it will hold between 1 and 3 cards. The leather has a bit of texture to it, giving it more grip overall as compared to Apple’s MagSafe wallet. The thing which sets the Mujjo wallet apart, however, are the silicone stripes on its back, which work together with the embedded magnets to give it an enhanced grip. It’s also nice that you are able to access your cards both from the front and the back of the wallet, as opposed to the back only access that Apple’s MagSafe wallet provides. And finally, the Mujjo wallet is less expensive than Apple’s MagSafe wallet…always a bonus.

The big downside of the Mujjo Full Leather Magnetic Wallet would obviously be its lack of Apple Find My functionality. Smaller issues would be its lack of a chime upon attachment and haptic feedback upon removal, and the fact that it doesn’t snap into place quite as nicely as Apple’s. However, on the Find My front, it is important to point out that even the Apple Wallet’s Find My doesn’t work quite as you might be expecting. Because it has no battery power, the Apple Wallet has no ability to update its location information if it is moved after being detached from your iPhone. The full extent of its Find My functionality is to report the location where it was last detached from your phone. So, the lack of Find My support on the Mujjo Wallet is perhaps not such a major loss. FYI, if you are interested in getting a MagSafe wallet with real Find My support, you might want to look at the MagSafe wallet ESR just came out with. It’s bulkier and heavier than the Mujjo or Apple options, but it has a small battery and as long as you charge it every three months, it will be able to provide you with its location, including updates if it is moved.

The Mujjo Full Leather Magnetic Wallet is available directly from Mujjo, as well as from Amazon, and it’s priced at $43.95 on Amazon and $44 on Mujjo’s website (noticeably less than the $59 MSRP of Apple’s MagSafe Wallet).
