On the October 21, 2021, a 7 year old boy was admitted to hospital, for itch and pain of his right arm.
He was given an oral steroid and discharged home.
On the following day, rashes were developed on the right side of his head, his right scapular area, and his right hand and arm, along with a continuous pain in his right arm.
Two months ago, while playing outside of his home, the boy was bitten by a bat. He had informed his parents; however, no medical treatment was sought as there were no visible bite marks, and the family was unaware that contact with a bat might cause rabies.
