Surah/Quran al-Kahf (سورة الكهف) - Magnificent recitation that soothes the heart that protects from the fitna of the dajjal and materialism.

Muslims are advised to read and recite Surah "Al Kahf" every Friday. It reminds us of the importance of belief in one God.

According to a hadith reported by Al Bayhaqi and authenticated by Sheikh Albani (Sahih Al Jami No. 6470), the Prophet (sws) said: "He who reads Surah Al Kahf on Friday is illuminated by a light between the two Fridays." This means that it is illuminated between the Friday of the reading and the Friday of the following week. Several other hadiths have been reported including that of Abu Ad-Darda': The Messenger of Allah (sws) said:
The Messenger of Allah (sws) said: "He who holds by heart the first ten verses of Surah 'Al Kahf' (The Cave) will be preserved from the Antichrist." Another version reported by Muslim states: "the last ten verses of the same surah."

What can be remembered from these stories is that each person is tested and that reading Surah Al Kahf helps to guard against the trial of Ad-Dajjâl, (the antichrist).
