What’s significant about the 2022/2023 RV model year is many manufacturers are not only designing floorplans with stylish appointments and innovative tech but are ramping up overall function for outdoor and indoor living. As lifestyles change on the road, it’s only practical that the RVs they travel in change as well.

Doug Miller, product manager for REV Recreation Group’s Class A products says, “The American Eagle 45E floorplan is unique, especially for snowbirds who spend months at a time down south. There’s plenty of space with sofas upfront, a fully appointed kitchen plus a 1.5 bath. It truly lends itself to snowbirds who enjoy resort-style RV living.”

With a length of about 13 m (44.11 ft) and width of 3 m (8.5 ft), the 45E is a four-slide dream coach. It’s designed to hit the road in style and be enjoyed to the fullest extent. But what makes it very unique is the interior’s styling and residential atmosphere.

There are also two new diesel Class A options, and both offer unique designs for casual RV travel in the summer, or extended trips southbound in the winter.

“The new floorplans in the Frontier GTX series are a more flexible type of coach,” says Miller. “They are configured for snowbirds, but they can also access more destinations for weekend RVers through the summer.”

A three-slide coach, the GTX37RT’s Freightliner chassis with a Cummins 6.7L 360 hp engine is designed to deliver smooth, reliable runs. It also offers pass-through basement storage, a 10,000 lb towing capacity, an 8.0 KW Onan generator and 100-gallon fuel and freshwater tanks.

On top of this foundation is an interior that meets the need of the current travel trends. Remote working and online classes, or homeschooling, have been game-changers for RV designs and as a result, Fleetwood configured what they coined ‘The Corner Office’ at the rear of the coach.
