A drying track after heavy rain made for difficult conditions in this DMAX Sprint race with turns 2 and 8 proving tricky as usual. There was a close battle for the podium places throughout the race and after finishing 3rd across the line I was surprised to be awarded 2nd place. It transpired that Kart 102 had a lap deleted and was dropped to 6th after understeering into the barriers under yellows on the penultimate lap. The decision seemed a bit harsh considering the conditions at turn 2 were quite challenging.
