In this video I unbox and give my first impressions on the new released Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer Watercolor Markers. Ok now on to the markers. Faber Castell just this a few days ago released a set of watercolor markers called the Faber Castell Albrecht Durer Watercolour Markers. The Faber Castell Albrecht Durer line includes professional grade soluble pencils in two sizes, these new markers are color indexed to those pencils. These markers are sold open stock and in sets of 5, 10, 20, 30. The Albrecht Durer Watercolor Markers are double ended, one end is a bullet tip the other is a soft brush tip. There are small bumps on the caps that keep the pens from rolling. The ink is described as "pigmented inks". Overall these are extremely high quality markers, they are soluble with water and can be activated long after the markers are on the paper. I have a hard time with markers but I was able to create what I want with these markers even though I only have 10 colors. I was extremely impressed by these markers. They lay down a lot of color, and can be used as "regular" markers. One can also use a palette and mix the colors on plastic and transfer the paint to the paper for a more subdued color. Overall if you are interested in watercolor markers and the price is within your means these will not disappoint.
