On February 10th, 2021, you joined us from around the world for a reunion of Dr. Sylvia Earle and Craig Foster, co-creator of Sea Change Foundation – the team that brought us My Octopus Teacher – in conversation with Will Travis, CEO, Elevation Barn.

The group discussed the Sea Change Project, a group co-founded by Craig, dedicated to the protection of The Great African Sea Forest, which is in the Mission Blue False Bay Hope Spot. Craig and his partners at Sea Change have started a “movement of emotional ecology, where people feel a meaningful connection to wild places and the animals that live in them.”

Craig and Dr. Earle touched on his experience freediving in one specific area of the kelp forest of the False Bay Hope Spot, and how he developed a deep connection with a creature (the octopus, of course!) whose lineage goes back 400 million years.

This webinar was hosted by Mission Blue in conjunction with Elevation Barn and SeaChange.
