This is Episode 1 of my documentary series on Evergreen recording studio where I got my start and became an audio engineer. Evergreen was located in NYC on 91st and Broadway. It had a great run from the early 1980s to the early 1990s. All kinds of music and artists recorded at Evergreen, from Rock , Punk, Funk, Pop, Hip Hop, to South African Jazz including projects for John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Herbie Hancock, Bill Laswell, John Lydon, Micheal Stipe, Hugo Largo, Hue Masekela, Movieland Meatloaf, The Horse You Rode In On and many others.
