Current is a major factor, and by using a 50 AMP cable with adapters, I was able to get it to run a 15K btu AC unit on PROPANE without issue consistently. I think it is wise to use an Easy Start or Soft Start device anyhow, but this is an experiment. I've seen a video showing it run a window AC but not a Mach 15 Roof AC and I wanted to know. It definitely would "fault" with a 30 amp cable. The lack of thump sound in the Mach 15 15K BTU (the newer quiet models..2021 and up) makes me think that Airxcel is quietly placing softstart capacitors or something similar to aid in starting up the AC. They were shooting for super quiet and the Thump degrades the wonderful running sound.

Honda EU 2200 already converted to propane:

30 amp pigtail to plug into RV:

You need two adapters (avoid too many pigtails to avoid current loss) to connect the 50 amp cable:

50 Amp 10 Foot Extension Cord:

You also need this adapter to connect to the Honda Generator (if you have the companion 30 AMP connection. Why did they do this?).

Bonding Neutral Plug: Honda's are set to "floating neutral". This resolves this issue and allows it to work with anything requiring a ground. Google for more details as it is a complex discussion. Your RV Surge Protector will not work without this, although the Honda produces such clean power, and knows when to shut off, so they say a surge protector is not so necessary. Regardless this is required if you want to use a surge protector:
