I turned the un-used plastic panel on the driver's side of my Ford Maverick into a 12v Power House using the Ford Maverick 12v Pigtail that came with my truck, the eDIY power point in the truck bed, a Blue Sea Systems panel, and some waterproof LED's and Dimmer Knob. The total parts cost was about $120 ($85 of that being the Blue Sea Systems 4366 pre-wired panel).

Overall this was an easy DIY.

The tools I used were a wire cutter/stripper/crimper, female spade crimp connectors, a bit of 16 AWG wire, a few crimp connectors, some heat shrink and electrical tape, and a soldering iron (optional depending on your LEDs). Then a 10mm socket wrench to remove the panel, and a drill and coping saw to cut the needed holes.

The last bit that I did (that's not mentioned in the video) was to cut a piece of 1/8" neoprene into a gasket for the large panel itself. The panel didn't sit flush against the bed wall with bed liner on it. The neoprene filled that gap and will help prevent water intrusion.
