About Mark Carmichael

Mark is a recognized business operator, having successfully established and exited four businesses across five countries, in three sectors since 1996. His diverse international background has resulted in a considerable network of prominent business contacts around the world.

Mark has held various senior management positions in finance, marketing, e-commerce, professional sports and manufacturing ventures and brings a unique mix of leadership, sales, strategic, and operational insights to M&A mandates.

Having developed two $50+ million companies, Mark understands the strategy development, teamwork and execution required for entrepreneurs to facilitate successful outcomes. Mark founded the UK operation of an international integrated direct marketing and data analytics company that received numerous awards, such as a Gold Medal from the Direct Marketing Association in the category of Best B2C marketing campaign, Red Herring Magazine’s Top 100 EMEA Technology Companies to Watch Award, and Deloitte Fast Fifty Rising Star recognition. Mark has been a keynote speaker on Global Data Mining, and has consulted for the Honda-backed Super Aguri Formula One Racing Team and a leading online logistics company.

Mark received his MBA from Oxford University and is a member of ChristChurch College. He is currently continuing his studies at Oxford University, pursuing a diploma in Biblical and Theological Studies. He also holds degrees in Economics and Business from Syracuse University in New York.

Mark is committed to supporting charities and is starting two individual initiatives to sponsor African child feeding programs and help local communities develop small businesses.

Mark has completed the Gobi Desert March, a 250-kilometer, self-supported 6-day foot race across one of the hottest and most remote areas on the planet. He has also completed the TransRockies Challenge, a 110-mile foot race across the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
