Most people know that putting LED lightbulbs in a halogen headlight housing leads to less than stellar results, and blinding oncoming traffic, but how bad is it really? Are they actually brighter?

I was curious so I decided to find out by comparing halogen lightbulbs, Vivid Lumen LED lightbulbs, generic cheap LED lightbulbs, and OEM projector headlights from a newer truck. I was happy to learn something new, and stoked to be able to share it with you! (PS, this video was not sponsored in any way.)

Final Results:
Halogen Bulbs: 83 Lux
Vivid LED Bulbs: 225 Lux
Cheapo LED Bulbs: 145 Lux @ same location, 360 Lux @ brightest location
2016+ Tacoma OEM Projectors: 158 Lux
