Ladies and gentlemen meet the truly groundbreaking 2023 BMW i7 xDrive60. Why groundbreaking? Well it shatters the egg shape norm with new EVs and may truly be the only full Luxury EV sedan on the market. (Incredibly huge thanks to @bmw @bmwusa for providing this weekly loaner). The i7 is incredibly quiet for passengers, but it also properly combines the perfect amount of power with an excessively (good) amount of modern art-deco stying and cutting edge tech. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

@Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: What do we have here? Two electric motors powered by a 101.7kWh battery pack making 536HP and 549 lb-ft of torque capable of 0-60 in 4.5sec with a 155MPH TopSpeed. I got a max reading of 308miles of range with up to 200kw charging speeds.

Highs:
-The interior silence truly is one of the closest things to a Rolls Royce you can get under $200k. And for weighing around 6,000lbs, it doesn’t drive like a floaty boat thanks to rear steering, active anti-roll bars, and an adaptive air suspension.
-Hey I hated the styling at first too and I wouldn’t call it pretty still. But boy does it have a presence and many elements have found soft spots in my heart.
-Build quality is second to none and there are true gems amongst the dazzling amount of new tech. (Ambient lighting, 10/10 HUD, Driver Assist Pro, Gesture control)

Lows:
-While auto closing doors are great once in the car, BMW needs to figure out how to better implement the whole process, it feels unfinished especially when auto opening.
-iDrive 8 takes TIME to get used to. Tip: just use the physical control wheel/ gesture controls and you’ll be fine.
-Visibility shocking was not good inside. Massive pillars and huge headrests are one thing, but the lack of a digital rear mirror option in Theater mode is a major oversight.

8/10 for me. Incredible car, a top notch, cutting edge luxury car first than can alsohandle itself well, but it is not for everyone.
