Omar Sharif was involved in gang activity in London. He says his involvement began at 13 years old when he was approached by a gang member.
He speaks to Insider about London gangs and how they operate. Since leaving the gang, Omar has inspired others towards positive change. He is now a sought-after motivational speaker, life coach and youth worker. He has also worked with large corporations and leaders.
Omar is the recipient of the Prince’s Trust Young Achiever of the Year award, and the Pride of Britain award for his impact in youth services.
