The 2021 BMW M2 CS literally takes everything that was not good about the M2 Competition and fixes it. It features a 180 lb weight reduction compared to the Comp, as a result of extensive use of Carbon and CFRP. It features a full-on M3 engine, no more detune, with the full 444 HP. It also features the first-ever appearance of both adaptive suspension and carbon ceramic brakes in a 2-series, both of which work as advertised. These changes, combined with the distinct worsening of the rest of BMW's lineup, mean that the M2 CS, even at a ridiculously high $85,000 delivered, is the best driving (and, IMO best looking) BMW you can buy today, at any price.
