Radical Music in Interwar Britain: Workshop Performance with Sea Green Singers

TORCH in partnership with the Sea Green Singers of Oxford, conducted by Sarah Westcott, present a workshop of radical music in 1930s Britain. The workshop is the product of a new collaboration between Dr Joanna Bullivant (Magdalen College, Oxford) and the Sea Green Singers. It included a talk by Dr Bullivant and performances of songs from the period, informed by contemporary experimental ideas about performance style and radicalising the concert.
