Simple Artistic MDF V-Carved Sign Painting Technique

After learning from past projects, painting a VCarve sign can be challenging, so I decided to experiment with this one created with VCarve Pro and cut with a Techno CNC router.
The entire sign of MDF was first sealed with a water based product applied with a HVLP paint gun. A black base coat was then applied and lightly sanded. For the raised portion, foam brushes on a stick called Spouncers were used to apply craft paint (acrylic) to the raised lettering. A clear compatible sealer should be applied after paint has fully cured to preserve the work (not shown).
