( Volkswagen Multivan T7 )
The new, up to seven-seater Multivan takes on the key function of the variable all-rounder more than ever.

Interior
Inside, the new Volkswagen Multivan is more flexible and spacious than ever, with a new modular, lightweight seating system and innovative table.
With space for up to seven seats, the rear five seats, which are up to 25 per cent lighter, can be moved and removed to suit, while the second row can be moved 180-degrees to create a conference style seating configuration.
The full-width bench seat for the third row has been replaced by individual seats to allow single seats to be removed for complete flexibility.

An innovative multi-function table has been designed for the new Multivan. Using the central track, it can be moved between any of the seating rows, and for the first time can be used as a centre console between the front seats.
The table, which is completely removable, features adjustable.

In addition, with its lounge-like interior, the van is also recommended as a high-quality shuttle.
This is all the more true since the new generation is also making its debut parallel to the basic model as an extended version with an even larger cargo space (up to 4,053 liters of luggage space).
From now on there are only easily adjustable and removable individual seats in the rear..

The plug-in hybrid system is a novelty in the series. The 160 kW / 218 PS high-tech drive harmonises locally emission-free driving with very long ranges and low overall consumption. The Multivan with plug-in hybrid drive bears the additional designation eHybrid. In addition, the front-wheel drive Multivan comes onto the market with two turbo petrol engines. They produce 100 kW / 136 PS and 150 kW / 204 PS. A turbodiesel (TDI) with 110 kW / 150 PS will follow in 2022. Generally standard: an automatically shifting dual clutch transmission (DSG).

The range of assistance systems has been significantly expanded. Always standard: Car2X (local warning system), “Front Assist” including city emergency braking function (environment monitoring system), the lane departure warning system “Lane Assist”, avoidance support with a new turning assistant, traffic sign recognition and the cruise control system. One of the innovative new systems is the "IQ.DRIVE Travel Assist", which enables partially automated driving from 0 to 210 km / h. Another novelty for a Multivan are the "IQ.LIGHT - LED matrix headlights" with interactive light control, which are optionally available as an alternative to the standard LED headlights. With its high-tech features, the most progressive Multivan of all time transfers an automotive lifestyle into the modern age.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles ushers in a new era for the brand and mobility. In the future, the Bulli range will be divided into three pillars: the Multivan, Transporter 6.1 series and the ID.BUZZ starting in 2022. The "T6.1" remains the specialist for commercial use and the basis of the iconic California motorhome.
With the lifestyle van ID.BUZZ and the urban transporter ID. BUZZ Cargo will conquer two all-electric models in new segments.
