New York City's Chinatown has a lot to offer in terms of culture and entertainment.

For starters, the Museum of Chinese in America (often referred to as MOCA) is dedicated to preserving the history and culture of American communities of Chinese descent. In this video I also discuss the local controversy around this museum.

Then, step onto the streets of the community where it's situated, and enjoy shopping at The Market (along Canal Street). You'll find all kinds of NYC souvenirs for much lower prices than other touristy areas, AND negotiating is acceptable here too.

Finally, what would a trip to Chinatown be without Chinese food!? Join me at a Kosher, Vegetarian Chinese restaurant.
